Main Text: Mark 10:35-45

The Way of Jesus

Leadership in the World:

Privilege
Control
Domination
Being served

Leadership in the Kingdom:

Service
Humility
Sacrifice
Blessing others

We are most like Jesus when we are serving others.

Serving the Local Church

Two truths:

Spiritual gifts are given to build up the body of Christ.
Without serving, we drift into consumer Christianity.

Three groups:

Faithful servants
Those who served in the past but stopped
Those who never signed up
