COMMUNITY IMPACT

Making a difference

The Community Impact Ministry equips and sends the people of Cityview Bible Church to bless our community and saturate Round Rock and Greater Austin with the love of Jesus. As individuals grow in their walk with God, we develop and empower them to help lead our movement of changed lives to reach every man, woman, and child for Jesus Christ.

Children of the King is a Christian Children’s Ministry for children that just need a friend or that are from parent-absent homes. The children enjoy play-time, a hot meal, learning life skills, and a Bible story in a family setting. We meet Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm, and Fridays 5:30-9pm. The children also enjoy Small Groups, Camps, and Adventures.

Education Connection helps fight illiteracy and school dropout rates. Last school year, more than 966 volunteer literacy partners and mentors served nine school districts across Central Texas, sitting down with elementary students each week for 30 minutes to read one-on-one. With the program growing rapidly and with more and more children in need of special attention, there’s a place for you to make a difference in a child’s life and education. Consider investing just 30 minutes a week in a school near you, and bless the life of a child.

As a discipleship ministry, God of Hope’s mission is to teach and model Christ’s love through an intense, focused exposure to His truth. We believe that the love of Jesus Christ, combined with His truth, produces hope (Love + Truth = Hope).

Our goal is to see two groups of people growing in Christ and living with hope: Inmate and Volunteers.

They currently have requests to open additional dormitories, and are responding to these requests as the Lord blesses this ministry with more volunteers and more financial resources.

God of Hope operates very efficiently, with only three paid staff members and over 100 Christian volunteers who selflessly donate their time and skills to disciple prison inmates through teaching, facilitating small groups, mentoring and coaching.
