SURGE IS OUR MINISTRY GEARED TOWARDS 9TH/10TH GRADE STUDENTS.
When and Where Do We Meet?
Surge takes place every Sunday during second hour from 10:45am to 12:00 pm in the boardroom at the YMCA. This time is designed to help disciple students in a deeper way. This environment helps us prepare students to serve in ministry, grow in generosity and mission, and provides us an environment to welcome high school students on Sunday mornings. Students will spend more time in their small groups and will be encouraged to grow deeper in maturity.
We also meet for fun, worship, teaching, prayer and time with friends each Wednesday from 7:00-8:15 pm at our church office. We call this time together Re:Fuel.
*Communication and events for 9th and 10th grade students are posted in the SURGE group or Parents of High School and Middle School Students on The City
We want students to stand in awe of God as their Creator, Savior, Father, etc. We believe that when students experience who God is they will devote their lives to following Him.
We believe that you are significant because God created you. God has something significant for you to do as well. We strive to provide opportunities for students to serve others and to change the world with the power of the Holy Spirit within them.
