Pulse is our ministry geared for
5th/6th grade students.
When and Where Do We Meet?
Pulse will meet every Sunday during 1st hour (9:00-10:30) upstairs in The Zone at the YMCA.
Every week we will provide:
- Fun - Group games, time to hangout in the Zone, etc...
- Worship - We want to provide age-appropriate, live worship for students that leads them to worship our awesome God.
- Biblical Teaching - We would like to walk through the Old and New Testament every 2 years to help students get a more holistic view of Scripture. The Gospel Project curriculum will be used to help guide us through the Bible. We will also have times where we teach on age-appropriate topics such as friendship, sex and dating, peer pressure, parents, missional living, spending time daily with God, etc...
During the 2nd hour service on Sundays, all 5th/6th grade students will participate in worship in the large gym. They are encouraged to sit with their peers and Small Group Leaders at the front.
6th grade students also meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:15 pm at our church office. We call this time together Re:Fuel.
Fields of Faith is a peer-to-peer movement where thousands of students from across the nation and world gather on an athletic field to share stories and challenge each other to apply the Bible as their 'game plan for life'
Our students will be meeting at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex on Wednesday, October 18 at the north entrance at 6:30 pm and can be picked up after the event at 8:30 pm.
Pizza Rev Fundraiser - Bring your friends and your family and eat at Pizza Rev at 200 University Blvd, Suite 290 in Round Rock between 11:00 am and 10:00 pm on Wednesday November 1st. 20% of purchases will be given to us to fund scholarships for our Renew Winter Retreat. Students will meet there between 6:00 - 9:00 instead of meeting for Refuel.
