There are many ways to serve on the Navajo reservation. On our short term trips, kids through adults get involved in building, cleanup, gardening, food pantry stocking, painting, you name it. The Navajo people are some of the poorest in the country and have very little means for repairing things, providing for their families, or just basic healthcare.
Cityview also assists in the collection and consolidation of Christmas boxes for the children on the reservation. Many children have very few possessions and are lacking in basic hygiene items, so with the help of our teams and others around the country, we create shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and basic care items for the local church to distribute at Christmastime.
The team is currently full, but you can still support them financially and in prayer.
