Welcome! Here's what's happening in Women's Ministry over the next few months:
Cityview Women's Event
Saturday, April 7th from 7-9:30 pm at Cityview Bible Church
Join us for a meaningful night out as we are challenged by author and speaker Julie Manning. Julie wrote the book “My Heart, Every Beat Surrendered to our Unchanging God” where she shares her journey of walking with Christ during a serious health issue. Julie will challenge us to be anchored in God’s truth through the various seasons of our lives. You will be inspired to hide God’s Word in your heart and add scripture memory to your daily routine. Visit Julie's website to learn more about her and her book.
Taylor Stearns will lead us in worship. Taylor is a music artist in Austin, TX.
This is a FREE event, but please RSVP. Please bring a friend. We will be serving light refreshments. We hope you join us!
The Anchored women's event has reached capacity! Go to the Anchored calendar event to place your name on the wait list.
WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB
The Cityview Women's Book Club ministry provides an opportunity for women to engage in fellowship and discussion about books of common interest. The group meets twice a month. Books are not all necessarily religious in nature but discussions will center on applying what we have read to our own faith journeys.
Book 3 (April 2018): "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. The group will meet on Saturday April 14th and April 28th from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Melissa McBroom's home. Buy or borrow your book and be prepared to discuss Chapters 1-5 at the first meeting. Go to the Book Club calendar event to sign up so we know you're coming! Deadline to register is April 9th.
Attend an informational meeting on March 29th at 9:30 am in the Cityview Conference Room B210. This ministry, led by Barbara Seeger, is a gathering of women who enjoy sewing and quilting, coming together to create homemade items to support our own church family needs as well as global ministries. Go the calendar event to RSVP for the meeting or to receive more information about this ministry. Contact Barbara Seeger for additional information.
