Brendon was born in Texas, but moved to Tennessee soon after where he grew up. He accepted Christ at a young age and attended church regularly, where is family was very active in their local church. However, it wasn’t until attending Cedarville College (Ohio) that he began growing deeper in his relationship with God and understanding how God wants to actively work through us. Natalie grew up in a Christian home in Southern California and accepted Christ during her pre-teen years. Natalie also began growing more deeply in her faith during her time attending Pepperdine University, where she developed strong friendships with other young women that were also seeking God.
Brendon and Natalie both moved to Chicago after graduating from college, where they met in the Singles group at Moody Church. They have been married for over 21 years and have three children, Adam (17), Hailey (15), and Lucy (almost 12). Brendon works for NCR Corporation as an Account Manager, selling to banks and credit unions throughout Texas. Natalie stays busy keeping everyone in the family organized with her “to do” lists. She also
serves in a Round Rock Service organization and leads a neighborhood Bible study.
The Cearleys have been attending Cityview since December 2013. They sensed that God was calling them to be part of the church family after attending the first service. They have served together in Student Ministry throughout their time here, and currently lead the Surge team (9th and 10th grade). Brendon also participates in the Bill Glass Prison ministry, while Natalie is actively involved in Women’s ministry. Brendon and Natalie are humbled by the opportunity for Brendon to serve as an Elder, and are excited to be part of God’s ongoing plan to use Cityview in reaching others with the Gospel.
